Moonjar Lava White

A handcrafted, traditional moonjar constructed from two separate parts: a base bowl and an equally sized bowl for the top. These two parts are carefully joined together with much love and attention to form a unified whole: the moonjar. Subsequently, the top section is carefully cut open to create an aperture, transforming the vessel into a vase. The interior of the moonjar is glazed transparently, resulting in a soft beige hue derived from the natural clay color, which elegantly complements the spectacular exterior. The outer surface is coated with matte magma glaze, rough and adorned with naturally formed relief, lending the vase an extraordinarily unique appearance. As the interior is glazed, the vase is waterproof and suitable for holding water for flowers. Of course, the vase is also stunning on its own, as an object, or adorned with a whimsically shaped branch.
